THE Tooradin Tractor Pull and Truck
Show returns later this month for a day of
hot rods, custom cars, kids’ rides, entertain-
ment, vintage tractors, trucks and helicopter
There will be a greater focus on cars at
event on Saturday, January 20 with thou-
sands expected to flood through gates for the
annual event at the Rutter Reserve.
“ Last year, over the course of the day, we
had about 5000 people, ” said event organ-
iser Allyn Reeve.
“ We’ve got some additional tractors that
have never been seen before and a line-up of
about 20 vintage tractors from the Korum-
burra Tractor Club. ”
And for the first time, there will be an

“ Hopefully next year we’re going to have all

the 100-metre track.
“ There will plenty of food, rides and enter-
tainment for the kids too, ” Allyn said.
He said the burnouts – starting at noon –
are always a hit with visitors.
“As soon as the burnouts start, people go
running to them.
“ We normally have about half a dozen cars
come through, they put on demos through-
out the day for 10 or 15 minutes here and

bring a chair or a picnic blanket and set up
on the grass. ”
The modified tractors will be on display
from 1pm, junior mowers from 10am to
noon, trucks and cars from 10am to 6pm,
and vintage tractors from 10am to noon.
The show has been an annual event in
Tooradin since 1998 and all proceeds go
back into the local community.

truck-show or at the gate on the day.
The show will be held at Rutter Park on
Saturday, January 20 from 10am to 10pm.
