SINCE returning from overseas, where he
was working at his other job, as a ski in-
structor, Robert Barron of Gooseneck Pot-
tery at Kardella near Korumburra has been
busy in his workshop in the hills.
He’s been turning out a power of work

IN CELEBRATION of 50 years of showing
the work of local artists, the Bass Coast Art-
ists’ Society warmly welcomes the commu-
nity to the Easter Art Exhibition for 2017.
The exhibition, which officially opens on
Friday, April 14, will be opened by Wendy
Crellin, and will continue all long weekend
until Tuesday, April 18.
Wendy is a past president of the society,
and is a passionate advocate for the arts in
She has been instrumental in the recent
acquisition of the Robert Smith collection of
artwork for the Bass Coast Shire Council.
The society has spent half a century cel-
ebrating and promoting the work of local
artists throughout Bass Coast and further
