Rooster rips through
A PATIENT century from Poowong-Loch’s
Nathan Allen has put his side in a strong po-
sition against Glen Alvie in B Grade Division

Allen batted for much of the innings for his
108, which was his first century, as the home

Joe Buke battled with the ball taking 4/88
off 22 overs, while Ben McRae picked up

Imperials were bowled out for a disappoint-
ing 41 in the 15th over after a ripping spell of
bowling by Korumburra’s Harry McNeill and
Nick Arney at Korumburra Turf.
McNeill snared 5/19 off seven overs includ-
ing two maidens.
Four of his five wickets were bowled, while
his first wicket of the day was caught behind.
Arney finished with 3/20 off seven overs,
with two bowled and one caught and bowled.
Jeremy Oxlee’s 63 and Shayne Harland’s
36 saw the Cobras post 6/172 off 44 overs
before declaring to have a shot at an outright

first senior century on Saturday, hitting
108 against Glen Alvie in B Grade Division

LEONGATHA Town Cricket Club will once
again host a Pink Stumps Day to raise money
for the McGrath Foundation.
The event is on next Saturday, February 5 at
Dress in pink and be in the running to win a
prize for best dressed!
Great raffle prizes are also up for grabs.
Tickets cost $30 for adults and $5 for kids
and include afternoon tea and a drink on ar-
rival, a barbecue and karaoke after the game.
The Scorpions are hosting OMK in A Grade.
